With his flashing lights and gravelly voice, Stinky the Garbage Truck is poised
to take the toy market by storm in 2010. Sure to be on the top of everyone’s
Christmas list, Stinky’s boxy look and oversized tires give him a unique
and somehow approachable look. Rearing up on his hind wheels, Stinky cries
“Feed me!” When an object is placed in his “mouth,” he burps and says “Mmm… that’s delicious!” Stinky’s vocabulary, while not large, is full of words and phrases
that will delight any child. Part of Matchbox’s “Hard Working Heroes” line,
Stinky is the successor to Rocky the Robot Truck, another popular vehicular
character.

Stinky is interactive, powered by advanced features, touch points and plenty of sensors. If a truck every seemed alive, it’s this one! Sure, he’s a toy truck you can play with in the usual way by loading and unloading him, but Stinky has his own amazing personality. He jokes, talks and “eats” whatever small objects are fed to him. Always ready to play, this charming toy is full of surprises that will keep his owner amused for hours. Stinky is very engaging and companionable. He’ll even start up a sing-along at a moment’s notice. His booming, raspy voice is somehow not scary but rather ebullient.

With his green-and-white paint job and six enormous tires, Stinky is quite a sight. He loves having his belly button tickled and unashamedly passes gas, saying “Uh-oh.” This burly character will bring a smile to everyone’s face, especially when he dances and finishes by asking the audience for applause. Stinky comes with a DVD that contains everything you need to know about him and is slated for release in July 2010. And don’t worry, Stinky doesn’t actually have a garbage-like aroma. Expect to pay about £80 to £90 for Stinky, who appears on Hamleys’ list of the most coveted toys for Christmas 2010.

Stinky the Garbage Truck, with his unlikely name and lovable antics, is sure to light up the eyes of any child. Be ready to tuck him into bed with your little one.
